Dedicated to the memory of Doreen Ruth Blunt
This site is a tribute to Ruth Blunt (nee Turnbull) from Penshaw, formerly of Durham.
Ruth died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on 23rd September 2021 aged 72 years. Ruth, beloved partner of Hugh Holt, dearly loved mam of Shirley, Derek, Brian and the late Barry, also a much loved nana, great nana, sister & aunt.
She is sadly missed and will always be remembered.

Amazing lady great fight till the end auntie Ruth. A loving Mam nana and great nana her family where her everything in story’s she told n memories she shared when we spoke. You will be a great miss auntie Ruth and hope you enjoy your next journey with your son Barry n your sisters .. ( look out for our girl ( Sam ) n give her hugs n kisses from her Mam and dad ) Until we all meet again forever loved n always in our thoughts. Bobby and Joanne ❤️ Xxxx
